For a greener Cincinnati, we endorse...

Mayor John Cranley for re-election and Greg Landsman, P.G. Sittenfeld, and Derek Bauman for Cincinnati City Council. Cincinnati is well on its way to becoming a major green city. Under Mayor John Cranley's leadership, Cincinnati ranked 2nd in America for green jobs. This slate of candidates will continue to lead Cincinnati forward on plans to transition the Greater Cincinnati Waterworks from coal-powered energy to solar, reduce our nation’s carbon emissions, and create a healthier, more resilient Cincinnati using the Green Cincinnati plan.

In Toledo, Lorain, and Amherst we endorse...

Nick Komives for Toledo City Council, Pamela Carter for Lorain City Council, and Brian Dembinski for Amherst City Council. Each of these candidates understand the important role Lake Erie plays in the lives and economy of their respective communities and will work to clean up this critical natural resource. City councilmembers must ensure safeguards for the local environment, promote clean energy consciousness, and lead with an eye to the future. These council candidates do exactly that.

For better parks throughout Ohio, we endorse...

Park levies in Lucas, Delaware, Miami, Pickaway County. Access to natural spaces has proven benefits to our families, our communities, and our environment. That's why we are endorsing five important parks levies this year. Parks offer opportunities for everyone to find joy outdoors - from kayaking in the summer to hiking snow covered trails in the winter. These particular park systems provide important education programs, bike trail access, and habitat restoration.
