“Under the leadership of Mayor Aftab Pureval and the Cincinnati City Council, Cincinnati has rapidly become a national leader in environmental justice and sustainability,” Spencer Dirrig, director of the OEC Action Fund, said. “From the creation of the Climate, Environment, and Infrastructure Committee to the Green Cincinnati Plan, Cincinnati is embracing an all-of-government approach to reducing carbon emissions, promoting sustainability, and securing environmental justice for underserved communities.”

“We’re encouraging the voters of Cincinnati to return all nine members of Cincinnati City Council because this group has delivered on environmental progress,” Carol Kauffman, president of the OEC Action Fund, said. “We look forward to continuing to work alongside these climate champions to make Cincinnati a more environmentally sustainable and just place to live, work and raise a family.”
